I’m here to tell you about the new inventory update and about the new newspaper!

Hello penguins!

I mentioned last week that we have been working hard on fixing bugs and listening to your comments. As a result, we’ve made some changes…

The first change was with the new player card. We heard a lot of great feedback after our last post about the player card and one major concern was not having a quick view when putting your outfits together. So we went back to the drawing board and fixed it. Here’s a new design of what it will look like.

We wanted to make sure you could still sort out your items by category (like the current furniture inventory) but also view everything together. And it was really important to make sure you could view the items on your penguin as soon as you selected them.

The new design definitely allows for that, and we kept the ‘clear outfit’ button!

I heard today that the team hopes to have the features ready to launch in a couple of weeks. You know what that means! As soon as they launch, and you have a chance to check them out be sure to let us know how it all works.

I know it’s been a little while scince I’ve shared updates about the Club Penguin Improvement Project, but that doesn’t mean the work slowed down.

Scince my last post, the team has been working hard on squashing bugs and making changes based on all of your comments–I’ll fill you in on those details next week. In the process they decided to make an entirely NEW feature that we hadn’t planned on! I’m really excited to be sharing it with you because it’s something many of you have suggested in the past. Although it made alot of sense.

I KNOW Chewit. Whatever he says, don’t believe him. Chewit and I were the best of friends. And he told me he quit CP for good. He even bought CSS and a domain for his site. He even told me himself that he would never ever pay for those kind of things. Well, it’s up to you on what you want to believe. If you want to believe, it’s fine with me. Hello!
I checked Club Penguin Cummunity and found some pretty impressive stuff.

First off, an igloo was featured. I don’t know why Club Penguin did this but here is the featured igloo:

Also something was going on with CPST, (Club Penguin Standard Time) here is a picture.

Will the clock in Snow Forts be updated?  That’s a question I will want answered.

Hello Penguins!

A new pin was just hidden today! If you’ve never looked for a pin before, try getting some buddies together or join a search group that’s already formed and hunt for the pin. When you find it, pick it up by clicking on it and wear it on your player card. Lots of penguins will probably ask you where you found it, so try to give them a hint without spoiling the surprise!

A new clothing catalog came out today too! It’s packed with gear for the summer so be sure to check it out! I really like the Aviator sunglasses–they’re cool! As always, let us know what you like and even what you think could be better!
In other news: You may have noticed a couple updates to the Community section of the website. A clock set to Penguin Standard Time was added to help you and your friends plan to meet up–at the same time! And starting this week, a different igloo will be featured that shows lots of creativity and imagination. To have your igloo considered all you have to do is decorate it. Let us know what you think of the first featured igloo!

Also, I called Club Penguin today. I had some problems. These were the questions I asked and these were the replies:

Question 1) Why does Club Penguin bring back old items?
Answer to question one:

We bring back old item’s because Club Penguin has many new penguins. We want to give every penguin a chance to get the items they really want. Not every item will be brought back though. Items that will never be brought back are these: Party hats, the Black or Pink toque, The CPIP item. There are more but I cannot tell you which items will be brought back.

The second question I asked was this:
Question 2)I lost the red whistle in CPIP, can I have it back?

My party just ended.. In a total disaster, only about 5-7 people came.

New Catalog + Party Invite + New Video + Mini Contest

Hey guys, Boopeh here.

I’m here to tell you about the New Catalog, My Party Invite, My New Video, and The New Mini Contest.

Here are the secrets from the new Catalog:

Click the Blue Sandal to get the Red/Blue Viing helmet. (You can get the blue one by clicking the the sandal and closing and open, do it 4 times and you’ll get the blue helmet.)

Click on the panel on the Diving Suit to get the Diving Helmet.

Click the gem on the crown to get the Crystal Staff.

Click on the Belt Buckle on the Knight Suit to get the Woodsman’s Hat.

Click on the pocket of the overalls to get the Cheesy Necktie.

Here are the new backgrounds on the new catalog. The Red Flower Background, The Blue Flower Background, and the Beach Background are old backgrounds that came back.

Oh, and by the way, there is a new pin, the new pin is located at the Forest. The pin is an Ice Cream Cone pin. Here’s the pic of the pin.

Great feedback on Penguin Mail!

Here’s the new design for the player card. The idea is to make it easier and faster for you to find the item you want. 

The red X on the bottom right is a ‘clear all’ button. So when you want to remove all the items on your penguin you can just click that button instead of removing them one by one. 

I also just found out that the team is working on a similar update for the furniture inventory!

Let us know what you think and what you’d change.

New Books, New CPIP item

Hey guys, sorry this post is a bit late, well, REALLY late.

Well here are the updates.

Well, the new stories are finally released, and all of the stories are compiled into one big book.

It’s already stacked with the other books at the Book Room.

New Newspaper

Hey guys, i’m here to talk to you about the new newspaper.

 First of all, here are the winners of the Book Writing Competition. Here’s what the judges said about the Books:

Lolliepops10’s winning story about “My Puffle’s Party” amazed the judges with it’s originality. Lolliepops10 has a great imagination.

We thought Sammysays’ tale - “All in a day’s work” was really exciting. It made our spines tingle!

“The Day My Puffle Went On An Adventure,” by Chochypop was really funny. We laughed and laughed.

That’s what the judges said about the winning books, the books will be released tomorrow, along with the CPIP item.

Hey guys! I’m here to tell you about the CPIP item!

Well, here’s some info on when you’re gonna get it.

“Hello Penguins!

Many of you have been waiting VERY patiently for the thank you item for helping with Server Test in March and I wanted to be the first to let you know it will be added to your inventory on May 30! I don’t want to ruin the surprise about what it is so you’ll have to login on Friday to find out. 

This item is only for those who helped with the Server Test event in March. If you logged in to help test you will receive the item. We wanted to deliver the item through Penguin Mail, but this feature along with the new login and player card won’t be ready for the end of May like we had originally hoped. The team has run into a few really big bugs that will take some time to sort out. They hope to have the new features ready to launch later in June. 

In the meantime, we’ll be posting some updates on the new features–they may still have a lot of bugs to squash but they’ve done a lot of great work that we could definitely use your feedback on. 

Check back in the next few days for an update on Penguin Mail!

New feature

Updates…

Hey guys, Boopeh here, i’m just going to tell you what i’ve been doing around the site lately.

1. I’ve changed the header if you noticed. My old one was terrible and too simple. So I made a  new one and added awesome effects. Please rate it out of 10.

2. I’ve updated the sidebar. You know, the age, and member stuff. And if you see on the site awards widget, i’ve added a cute little button to poke all day. Lol. Try it, it’s really fun.

3. I’ve added horizontal lines on posts to seperate different topics so you guys won’t get confused. It helps people who don’t read much lol. It even affected me once, I couldn’t read my own posts, so I added these horizontal lines.

4. I’ve added an Ultimate Links Page so all you guys can posts their sites there and it can be advertised on that very special page. It’s very simple, just put my site on your blogroll, and comment on the page to get on my Ultimate Links page. ANYONE, and I mean ANYONE can join it there. It could help people who have little hits and need more. For more information, click here.

If you have any more suggestions to make the site any better, please just comment here. Or on a latest I posted. I’d be happy to read your suggestion.
